Professional Boundaries

Professional Boundaries & Code of Conduct

As your therapist, I am here to create a safe, welcoming, and healing environment for every client. With nearly 20 years of experience and a deep commitment to ethical care, I hold myself to the highest standards of professionalism. To ensure every session is positive, respectful, and therapeutic, the following boundaries and expectations apply to all clients:

Zero Tolerance for Inappropriate Behavior

Massage therapy is a professional healthcare service—not a form of entertainment. Any inappropriate behavior, sexual requests, or suggestive comments—whether verbal, nonverbal, or physical—will result in the immediate termination of the session.

  • The client will be prohibited from booking any future services.

  • Full payment will still be required, regardless of how much time has passed in the session.

I take your well-being seriously—and I expect that same level of seriousness in return.

Draping & Privacy Policy

Your privacy and dignity will always be respected. Professional draping is used at all times, with only the area being worked on exposed. This is a standard, ethical practice in licensed massage therapy and ensures both comfort and safety throughout your session.

Scope of Practice

I specialize in therapeutic massage techniques that support relaxation, recovery, and overall well-being. All services are based on my formal training, continuing education, and state licensure.

I do not perform procedures outside the legal and ethical scope of massage therapy, including:

  • Medical diagnosis

  • Spinal or joint manipulation

  • Alternative treatments not supported by my license

Punctuality, Cancellations & Time Management

To respect everyone’s time and ensure the best possible experience:

  • Please be ready and available for your scheduled session time.

  • Not being prepared may result in a shortened session.

  • 24-hour notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling.

Final Note

By scheduling a session, you acknowledge and agree to these policies. These boundaries are in place to protect your comfort, my integrity as your therapist, and the therapeutic nature of the work we do together.
